Who is Tim?
I’m a strong believer in the American dream.
I grew up in Florida with little. My mother passed away when I was seven years old, and by 17 I was on my own.
Despite many challenges and sacrifices, I paid for my own education. At 21 I packed what few belongings I had and $200 in my pocket, and drove to Colorado in hopes of a brighter future.
I met my wife, Barb, working together at Elly May’s restaurant. Now, 35 years later, Barb and I have two grown sons—Joe and Patrick—who have families of their own. They have made us the proud grandparents of five wonderful grand kids.
I graduated from Regis University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Economics.
In 1988, we moved to Jefferson County, where Barb and I have grown deep roots. We’ve raised our boys in this community and we manage our small family business right here.
Within the community, I’ve volunteered for many dedicated conservative candidates and serve as a board member of Parent Led Reform, an organization committed to improving school choice opportunities.
Thinking back to my ambitions as I drove from Florida to Colorado, I am now realizing those early dreams. Now my vision is to make sure all Coloradans have the same opportunities as I did.
